Stuart Crane first started drag racing in the 9.90 class on a turbo GSXR. This didn't go without incident! On one qualifying run the bike threw oil all over the rear tyre at 145mph, he ended up qualified 16th out of a field of 32 on his backside,  breaking the timing beams at 108mph.

He ran this bike for a couple of meets in 2003 before replacing it with a Prostock/Competition bike for the rest of the season and into 2004, finishing a lowly 15th.

Stuart ran this chassis until the end of the 2009 season, learning how to setup, ride and modifying it for greater performance and to suit his size and style.

In 2009 stuart felt that he'd learned enough to build his own chassis and set to work on his own design.  Testing showed that his pragmatic approach to precision had paid dividends and produced a chassis, and rear wheel, that was well balanced and ran as straight as an arrow,  running a personal best on his first gassed run.  Orders for chassis have been keeping him busy since!
